Mr. Manson has worked in the natural resources industry since 1987. He has fostered the growth of several companies in their start-up stage, and has extensive experience in the administration of public companies. In addition to serving as President of Sea Breeze Power, he is also president of the financial and management consulting firm Banks Island Management Services Inc.





Jan Campfens

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Campfens has served as Chief Financial Officer since February 1, 2005. He has extensive experience working with clients in all areas of the energy sector. Mr. Campfens was formerly a member of the PriceWaterhouseCoopers team advising the Ontario Government on its electricity sector restructuring initiatives. He has also worked previously for the Federal Competition Bureau (conflict resolution and market study in the Canadian petroleum industry), as a Research Associate in the Energy and Environment Group at the Conference Board of Canada, and in the Energy Research Group at Simon Fraser University. Mr. Campfens holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, along with an MBA in Finance from the University of Ottawa, a Masters of Resource and Environmental Management from Simon Fraser University, and a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toronto.

Ms. Campfens has over 18 years of international management experience, including oversight of a portfolio of clean energy and transmission projects and development of corporate strategies. She has managed international, national, state and provincial permitting and regulatory activities in the clean energy sector including the Knob Hill Wind Farm on Vancouver Island, which received an electricity purchase agreement from BC hydro in 2010; and the international permitting process for the Juan de Fuca Cable project, which has received approvals from the National Energy Board and US Department of Energy.


Ms Campfens has extensive negotiation and consultation experience with government, stakeholders and First Nations. In her capacity as Chair of the Market Development Committee of Clean Energy BC (CEABC), she is an active industry spokesperson on policy matters related to export and domestic electricity markets.


Ms. Campfens received a B.FA degree from NSCAD University in 1991 and an Executive MBA from Simon Fraser University in 2006. She is married with two children.





Margaret Whiteside

Ms. Margaret Whiteside has worked with the company for seven years, bringing to the company over 15 years of international and domestic banking experience. She has worked in the past as a director of several public companies.
