James Griffiths
Manager, Wind Development
James Griffiths manages Sea Breeze's wind energy department to ensure that projects are developed in a strategic and focused manner. This involves coordinating a team of staff and consultants in the planning and execution of desktop and field studies at candidate wind farmsites to investigate key engineering, environmental, or other issues. This information, along with information gathered by Sea Breeze's meteorology department, assists in the prioritization of projects, and the design and execution of an appropriate development program. At high potential sites, key elements (turbine supply, engineering, permitting, marketing) are brought together to form a viable wind energy project that can be financed and constructed.
Mr. Griffiths managed the Cape Scott Wind Farm project (formerly called Knob Hill) to the point of achieving its contract with BC Hydro and its equity financing, and he currently contributes to the permitting team as that project nears the start of construction. Mr. Griffiths also managed regulatory proceedings for the Vancouver Island Cable project in 2005/06. Mr. Griffiths completed his Masters in Environment & Management at Royal Roads University. His thesis project involved an exploration of the effectiveness of an ecosystem-based management framework in planning a large wind farm project and simultaneously protecting ecosystem structure and function. Mr. Griffiths teaches a course in wind power development at BCIT and is also involved in various volunteer initiatives around Vancouver.

Dmitri Kotliarov
Financial Analyst
Dmitri Kotliarov is responsible for overseeing various aspects relating to financing on both the project and corporate levels, from performing economic feasibility analysis to participating in contract and partnership negotiations. Dmitri holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) degree from the University of British Columbia's Sauder School of Business and is currently working towards obtaining the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Dmitri joined the Sea Breeze team in 2005.
