Sea Breeze is developing a microgrid system for an off-grid community in the Yukon Territory. Sea Breeze staff is employing its expertise in project development, microgrid integration, economic modelling, and relationship-building with communities and First Nations.
Sea Breeze Power Corp is partnering with a company that has gained support from a number of major mines and off-grid communities in Canada to investigate the feasibility replacing existing diesel fuel supply chains and power systems with liquefied natural gas (LNG) alternatives, positioning the companies as turnkey fuel supply chain providers for this initiative. The most immediate project in this initiative, involves integrating wind (3MW) and storage technologies into a cold-climate mine and replicating this effort using renewables and LNG to the other mines and communities, including two additional wind projects of 4MW each.
